WASHINGTON – Congressman Jim Hagedorn (MN-01) today voted against H.R. 51, the Washington, D.C. Admission Act, which would unconstitutionally create the state of “Washington, Douglass Commonwealth” out of the existing District of Columbia. The bill passed along a party line vote of 216-208.
