Hagedorn Sends Letter to DOT in Support of Highway 14 Completion
WASHINGTON – Congressman Jim Hagedorn (MN-01) today sent a letter to U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) Secretary Elaine Chao expressing his support for and the importance of the Minnesota Department of Transportation’s (MnDOT) grant application for the US Highway 14 four-lane expansion from New Ulm to Nicollet.
Rep. Hagedorn emphasized to Secretary Chao the importance of the project’s completion to the safety and commerce of southern Minnesota and its residents.
"This project is very important to the continued economic vitality and public safety of southern Minnesota and it is fully supported by local, state and federal political representatives. This project is crucial to both the rural parts of our district, as well as our urban parts. Approval of this project will strengthen and provide safety to all commuters, as well as improve our farm-to-market network,” Hagedorn wrote.
